About the Study

We are interested in supporting people who experience difficulties or challenges after taking a psychedelic, and in preventing psychedelic-related difficulties from occurring.

We designed the Post-Psychedelic Challenges Study to better understand the nature of post-psychedelic challenges. What do people experience when they struggle after taking a psychedelic? Do different people's difficulties have anything in common, and are there different kinds of problems that people experience? How long do difficulties last? What helps people recover, or even thrive, after difficulties?

This is vital information for developing approaches to help people who are struggling after taking psychedelics, and to prevent difficulties when possible.

To accomplish this we will be gathering a great deal of information, mostly through online questionnaires, from people who have had post-psychedelic challenges in the past, and from people currently experiencing challenges.

We will not ask for your identifying information at any point in the study. We do conduct a brief screening to make sure that participants are eligible for the study. Once in the study, eligible participants are compensated for any part of the research in which they participate. Please see the study procedures for further information.
